There's a reason why people call Cristiano Ronaldo the best player in the world and Northern Ireland captain Steven Davis found out why when he faced the Portugal star on Friday night.

The Southampton midfielder was left with his legs in a twist when he tried to tackle Ronaldo at Windsor Park as the 28-year-old pulled off a Cruyff turn and an improvised nutmeg before back-heeling the ball away to his team-mate.


Meanwhile, Davis was left swinging at thin air and made to look like a Sunday League amateur.
