Manchester City face the prospect of a horror draw on Thursday afternoon for the group stage of the Champions League.
Following two consecutive exits from the group stage and after their dismal bottom-place finish last season they are in the third of four pots meaning they could face the current champions Bayern Munich or either of the Spanish giants Barcelona or Real Madrid.
Doldrums: City, with Carlos Tevez, have bombed out of the Champions League at the group stage twice
On of the sides they could face is Celtic, who find themselves in the hat after a dramatic 3-0 win against Shakhter Karagandy, with James Forrest's late goal overturning a two-goal deficit from the first leg.
Neil Lennon's men are in pot four, and can face any English team, including City, Chelsea, Arsenal or Manchester United.

All the teams are drawn from Pot One first, with the first team joining Group A, the second Group B and so on until all eight groups have their first teams.
The teams are then drawn from Pot Two and so on until every team has been placed in a group. No club from the same country can be drawn against each other in the same group.
If this occurs the team drawn second will automatically be moved into another group.
