Liverpool have been rocked by injuries to three stars ahead of their weekend game against Manchester United.
Kolo Toure, Aly Cissokho and Joe Allen all limped off during the 4-2 Capital One Cup win over Notts County at Anfield.
Toure looked to be the worst case, being carried off on a stretcher with a groin problem while Cissokho was forced off early on due to an ankle complaint and midfielder Joe Allen also had to be substituted having sustained an apparent hamstring problem.
Carried off: Kolo Toure leaves the field on a stretcher
Down and out: Aly Cissokho had to go off with an ankle injury after just 10 minutes
Another one bites the dust: Joe Allen went off with a hamstring strain
Rodgers said: 'We will assess them tomorrow. It was obviously disappointing with Cissokho getting injured so early on - he was distraught coming off as you can imagine.
'Joe Allen we just need to check - he has maybe tweaked his hamstring.
'And Kolo Toure has overstretched his groin, so we need to assess that, which doesn't look so good to be honest.'
Rodgers did confirm that defender Martin Skrtel, recently sidelined by a knee injury, would be available for Sunday's Premier League home clash with Manchester United.
